LIMITED RUN – We decided to put up some 3-3.5 lb mini-bumps of both Rambouillet and Targhee when we were re-winding to make the split bumps. Instead of an additional $ 1.75/lb as with the split bumps, these are offered for an additional $3.50/lb over their respective bump prices but perhaps that will work for those of you who just need a few pounds of either of these fibers? We made a limited number of these mini-bumps and do not expect this to be a continuing product offering, unless demand is high.

Targhee is a domestically grown wool that is processed in the United States. The Targhee breed was developed at the Experimental Sheep Station in Dubois, Idaho in the mid 1900’s. The foundation stock were ewes of Rambouillet, Corriedale, and Lincoln bloodlines bred back to Rambouillet rams. Our wool has been selected specifically for Worsted Spinning New England’s Targhee yarn program and is 23/23.5 microns.
