The premium wool in this small batch blend comes from a ranch committed to Climate-Beneficial farming practices for their pure-bred Rambouillet flock of sheep. We spin yarn for one of the owners and can attest to the high quality of the wool which averages right around a soft 22 microns. There are some very narrow streaks of silk in the roving to help show the contrast with the shine of the silk after dying. These bumps will range from approximately 10 to 10.5 lbs each and, if enough demand, later in the year we will produce 22 lb bumps.
