LIMITED RUN – We decided to put up some 3-3.5 lb mini-bumps of both Rambouillet and Targhee when we were re-winding to make the split bumps. Instead of an additional $ 1.75/lb as with the split bumps, these are offered for an additional $3.50/lb over their respective bump prices but perhaps that will work for those of you who just need a few pounds of either of these fibers? We made a limited number of these mini-bumps and do not expect this to be a continuing product offering, unless demand is high.

This is the perfect product for those looking for a unique addition to their spinning offerings. Rambouillet is a less common fiber in the hand spinning market, however it boasts fantastic characteristics such as a fine wool (22 microns) with longer staple length for next-to-skin comfort, strength and durability. This fiber also has great elasticity and bounce.

Our Rambouillet is a product of the USA. The wool is primarily sourced in the US but I’m sure some of the greasy fleece comes from Canada as well. The wool is scoured and combed in the US.
